I’m a resident of Oshawa for the last 5 years, but I grew up in Whitby, and I love Durham Region. One of the reasons I decided to setup this blog is because I feel that not enough is said about Durham Region and most people don’t know about all of the fun and exciting things to do here. I also wanted a place where I can write about my opinions about how this region is being run at a political level among other things. In short – it’s a place for me to ramble about all of the things I like, as well as the things I don’t like.

My Professional and Personal Background
On a personal level I’ve been married for six years to my lovely and talented wife Marissa, and we have a four year old (soon to be five) son named Declan. We love spending time together and this summer we embarked on our first family camping trip at Sand Banks Provincial Park – a tremendous campground which I highly recommend.
On a professional level, I am currently the CTO and VP of Operations for Spark Internet Marketing.
