I’ve never really thought about it today. Seems to me that it can be done overnight in the case of the 401 sometimes. In other cases it can take months – maybe even years.
I’m thinking about it because Harmony Road near my house feels like it’s been being paved all summer long. I don’t think that’s actually the case but it sure feels like it.
If anyone out there knows how fast a road can be paved post a comment and let us know!
{{chris}} I’ve been a commuter into Toronto for over ten years now. In the last four years I’ve noticed a steady increase in the amount of traffic bunching up on the way into Pickering before the collectors. With all of the recent construction happening in Oshawa / Whitby on the 401 I had a very small hope that it would include an extension of the collectors. Unfortunately, I don’t think that’s the case.
Does anyone know if when this is happening? With all of the expansion happening in North East Oshawa, and the popularity of Oshawa in general – I don’t see the problem getting better anytime soon.
